Washizu - Enma no Touhai (ワシズ -閻魔の闘牌-, Washizu - Lord Of Mahjong Hell) is a manga spin-off and prequel to Akagi by Keiichirou Hara, in cooperation with Nobuyuki Fukumoto, focusing on mahjong-based gambling. It began publication in July, 2008 in Takeshobo's Kindai Mahjong, being released monthly before eventually moving to Kindai Mahjong Original. The series ended in November, 2012 with a total of 8 volumes and 53 chapters. The series is immediately followed by Washizu - Tenka Sousei Touhairoku.
