Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Carla Hay Culture Mix The story will be completely predictable to adults, but the appealing animation and the briskly paced adventure ... should keep most viewers interested ... [The movie has a] message about how true love can be found ... if you have self-acceptance first. Sep 23, 2020 Full Review Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Tessa Smith Mama's Geeky The first half seems to set kids up for serious body image issues. But the film eventually gets to making the point it wants to make -- it just goes the LONG way to get there. Rated: 2/5 Sep 18, 2020 Full Review Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Josh Bell Crooked Marquee Feels like its plot, setting, and dialogue have been run back and forth several times through a translation algorithm. Rated: D+ Sep 14, 2020 Full Review Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Tracey Petherick Common Sense Media Fun-packed fairy tale parody challenges stereotypes. Rated: 4/5 Jul 24, 2020 Full Review Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs | Rotten Tomatoes (5) James Croot Stuff.co.nz A second-rate Shrek rip-off which somewhat disturbingly mixes knockabout kids' humour with the premise of the Farrelly Brothers' Shallow Hal. Anna S Literally a hidden gem. Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/01/24 Full Review Denisha S I was going into this movie with only tiktoks as motivation, but the animation, the CHARACTERS is what kept me from turning it off! i love each character and most of them got decent screentime. and although the ending seems a little rushed (to me at least) i still love the message at the end. that no matter how rich or strong or even smart you are, the one you choose should always be the one who makes you genuinely happy. also love how there is still some fat shaming, but not overdone. its just the right amount to see what the movie is trying to show.i absolutely recommend this movie to both kids AND adults. everyone could learn something from this movie. and i hope other people fell in love with it just as much as i did. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/01/24 Full Review Audience Member This movie is an absolute gem! I had my doubts at first, but after giving it a watch it was definitely worth my time! An amazing movie with a great meaning and memorable cast!. Will watch again! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/20/24 Full Review Arrigo M that's easily a ten out of ten for me! i can't believe i haven't seen this one immediately after it just came out, but i am glad that finally someone took upon themselves to revive what shrek's creators once began. not sure how to phrase this review, for i am not a native speaker, so i will just share my joy and opinion that rs&sd nailed it. i hope this universe will expand via sequels and spin-offs and they will tell us more stories within, reinvent more fairytales, because it is much much needed! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/27/24 Full Review Sharky O The animation was beautiful! The fight choreography was well done and I enjoyed the simple but comfortable plot and characters. The music choices were a bit jarring at times, but I feel like the great performances from the voice actors helped bring it back. Not a tear-jerker but definitely worth putting on for the kids. Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review Sabrine H Didn't expect much and actually enjoyed the movie more than I thought. Watched this with my son and would definitely watch again. A great message to never judge based on appearances Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/06/24 Full Review Read all reviews
